For control of the granularizer and sample start points would you recommend analog pots rather than midi? Just wondering if the analog control significantly helps with precision

It always feels better with analogue inputs, and for starting point it's quite precise. You can also do it with two inputs (midi or gpio) one with a wide range, and one much more precise. The advantage of midi being saveble and recallable with presets (if needed)
