Midi CC Mapping Limit?

#1

Hi guys,
recently I developed a new patch with several controls, I started to mapping them with MIDI CC and it worked great until I mapped the 24th control, after that the patcher refuses to go live :frowning: is there a limit of controls to be mapped with MIDI CCs? If I have about 50-60 controls how I could go on ?
Thank you for support
K

Thet patch refuses to go live - Can you post the log from the Axoloti window?

There should be some info in that log that might show what the issue is.

#3

have you increased the number of modulation sources? in the patch settings dialog.

Thank you for reply, here’s the screenshot of the log

#5

Thank you @lokki, no, I don’t know this setting

Looks like you've reached the sRAM limit.
maybe your patch is too big. Try reorganize your objects so that cables always go from left to right, and top to bottom. This can save quite some ram, especially red and blue ones.
CC assign take ressources, so that might help you have more.

#7

also if you don't use preset or modulation sources, you can put everything to zero in view/settings. I think that reduces ressources too.

ah sorry, i did not see the screenshot. @cire is right, you reached the sram limit. try making all connections left to right and top to bottom (so no upwards and no right to left connections) this might reduce sram usage as well

Thank you @cire and @lokki , yes it is, the patch is big and sometimes some objects aren’t in the right place (left to right and top to bottom:sweat_smile:), now, after re-designing, it works correctly !! Good to know these tricks :raised_hands:t2: I’m not so expert and I don’t know many critical things.
Cheers
