How does one record to circular buffer

Hello everyone. I'm new to axoloti, coming from max, I would appreciate any help.

I'm trying to create a circular buffer: record live audio into a table and once it reaches the end keep recording at the beginning of the table.

I then would like to read from the table from the current position and play back a variable size, similar to sss's repeater or sptnk's slicer. I thought that connecting an lfo to position inlets of both would be all i needed to do but it seems more complicated than that?

delay/write is a special table that does the circular buffer writing for you, have you checked it?

Hey thanks for the response.

I checked out delay/write. How can I retrigger the table from a specific position though? As far as I can tell it only functions as a delay, right?
