Hammond and other organ

#1

someone tried to do a organ patch?

#2

I did a while ago, using a sin oscillator per tone wheel, It's a real simple patch but it doesn"t sound too bad if you put it through a nice Lesly effect (that's not in the patch). But it does use a lot of CPU, -> 87% for 6 voices :frowning:
hammondpoly.axp (17.4 KB)

also see demos/synth/organ.axp and demos/synth/organ2.axp

thanks @mtyas an @timvets!
I tried the demo but the two seem more transistor organs

#5

I made a "Hammond" patch a while back, here: hammond.axp (21.3 KB)

I'd be interested in patching a Vox Continental sound but don't know how it works, anyone?

Pretty similar to mine  Only you came up with a way to include the percussive sound. I'll check out how it sounds during the weekend.

Also, I see I have 9 oscillators and you have 8? I found the frequencies needed somewhere on the net, I don't have any real knowledge about Hammonds.

They are very close indeed. You have an extra osc in your organ patch, mine has that percussive osc, and I feel the tone wheels are tuned slightly differently, otherwise they are the same ! SNAP !
