Do Subpatches save space?

So I made this little subpatch to include in my guitar effects patch - just a simple boost/treble boost


Is it purely for visual space or am I saving any of the AXO processing space by using a subpatch rather than just putting those objects in my main patch? I haven't gone down the hole into starting to try to code my own objects (honestly not even sure where/how to get started on that) but similarly, would a custom object made to do the same things save space?

I think my full patch is only around 50% right now but trimming so I can fit more would be rad

also, if there is a better way for me to do a boost than this feel free to let me know! I'm still pretty new at all this

When you say "is only 50%", do you mean memory size or cpu processing power?

Subpatches will not improve performance cpu wise.
