Clear console from script?

Is there a way to clear the console output in Axoloti main window
by using a script command instead of clicking the "clear" button?

There is no function for this, and I think it would be weird to clear the log with a function. It may automatically clear useful diagnostics.

My reason for wanting this is that, when you print lots of stuff to the log, after some time it stalls the program.
