Changing the name of a mixer knob?

#1

If i make a patch/patcher and then inside that make a mix/mix5, and select the knobs to be visible on parent, i get text like mix_1:Gain1, mix_1:Gain2 etc. Is it possible to edit the names to be something else? (like LFO amount etc) It would really make it easier to know what knob controls adsr amount, and what knob controls LFO amount etc.

Thanks:)

You can only change the name of the object at this moment. So mix_1 can be changed into anything you like if you double-click it.

If you want more control over naming, you can use a ctrl/dial p object in combination with a gain/vca object. to control the volume for instance, and show that dial on the parent patch.

Ok. I might do the workaround then. But man... I'm already addicted to patching. And I got the thing yesterday! Made a monosynth with unstable oscillators (sounds more raw I think), a sample and hold and vcf/vca etc. I'm still missing a nice sounding 24 lp filter and exponential glide, but I can't do any programming myself so I'll have to rely on you guys:)
This is cool!
