you could try using a stm32f4discovery board (with limitations) if you're impatient (like me)

though i basically have the same question, even a hint on when a new batch will be made will be usefull right now!

#23

Same here, I hope it'll be released soon !

#24

sorry, but you just should have joined the Indiegogo project.

i'm sure a lot of work went into all this, and I think it isnt fair to ask for a new batch right after the first release. I can't speak for the creator(s) but I hope the first priority is to fix some bugs, build a community and get some user-feedback . With that some improvements could be made and an even better product be delivered.

#25

?
Not everybody was aware of the Indigogo campaign... Would've bought a couple boards if I had known at the time.
If he does a new batch and makes profit on it I don't see where's the problem... We're not asking for free
samples...
Anyway, will sit patiently until it's available commercially.

Im sure there are a few things that need to be put in place to support general ordering/delivery (its a slightly different process to indiegogo fulfilment) and of course @johannes has been pretty busy up till now with fulfilment. so probably needs a little more time to firm up plans for next batch.

@alex of course, all the the things you mentioned are important, and can be done in parallel and are a continuous process.

hopefully won't be too long, the more axoloti users the merrier

#27

There is already a thread about Axoloti for sale:

@thetechnobear @johannes maybe these 2 threads should be merged into one to keep information in 1 place?

#28

I think it would be a good idea to start a mailing list or something similar just so people can just add their name if they're interested and be notified if another batch does get made. This would give Johannes a way to gauge interest in another run and give people who missed the IG campaign the opportunity to get in on the next one without having to check the forums every week.

8 posts were merged into an existing topic: Axoloti for sale?

I bought two and just put one of them on ebay: 291581044518

Considering all that it can do, and that I'm only a musical hack, one is enough for me

#32

i can't find the ebay link you posted?

#33

I posted it on ebay.de - apparently they handle the EU separately from .com and .co.uk? I would ship it to the UK, but I can't help you if ebay decides not to make that offer available from your country. Try searching for "axoloti core", maybe it will show up. That used to work internationally a few years back, no idea what they are up to now.

#34

it's seemingly only on ebay.de, not even on ebay.com, but anyway, i'm going to bid on it (living in the netherlands here, long live google translate :stuck_out_tongue: )

#35

I am eager to get a couple, I missed out on the kickstarter :frowning:

#36

If someone wants to build their own, this link might be somewhat helpful:
http://ebrombaugh.studionebula.com/synth/stm32f4_codec_v2/index.html

Not an Axoloti (TM) but a DIY ARM STM32F4 development board with audio codec and I/O. Maybe it would run Axoloti firmware? Not sure

#37

it would be important to know if the codec was the same, otherwise it would be a reasonable amount of dev work to get it working. (dev work that obviously we cannot expect @johannes to do).

but of course the code is open source so you can have a go. (again have realistic expectations about how much help will be available here)

#38

it uses a different mcu as well, it seems.

#39

I found it on ebay.be
