Axoloti and Bastl Kastle

#1

my Bastl Kastle turned up yesterday, Ive been waiting a while ... its a lot of fun, a real noise machine

I thought Id run it thru Clds on Axoloti to see what noises I could make, and thought it might be interesting to others.
I think its a lot of sounds for two 65 euro machines

Beautiful!

Did you tried to send gates or adsr, lfo's from axoloti to Kastl?
With the form factor of the wires of the kastle, I guess it will be easy at least to try to send signals from the axoloti patchbay to the kastle patchbay.
A lot of tiny little esxperiments to be done !
Congrats and enjoy these beauties !

Thanks.

it actually works well with axoloti.. the Kastle on its own I found a bit noisy but once fed into axoloti, the noise seems to go. (I think its due to the really high gain levels on the Kastle)

Not tried physically connecting the Kastle yet, should be ok to connect GPIO directly to the input, but you'll only get 60% range, as I think its 5v vs axo 3.3v - similarly you'll need a voltage divider to scale the output connector to send it to axo.
Its on my list of things to do

yeah its alot of fun... and at the same time, I got an OMSynth, so will also be bringing this into the mix
